Chris is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Blue Highway Capital. She has 22 years of expertise sourcing, structuring, and managing 24 investments in small middle-market companies across a broad range of industries including business services, health care services, telecommunications, transportation, consumer products, and manufacturing. These investments were made in rapidly growing, small middle market companies and structured to support growth, acquisition and recapitalization strategies.
Prior to co-founding Blue Highway, Chris was a Director at Brooke Private Equity Associates where she was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring fund and direct investments, as well as maintaining limited partner and fund manager relationships. She also served on the Investment Committee of BPEA-affiliated funds.
Chris is the founder Eureka Growth Capital I (EGCI), an $85 million upper quartile growth equity fund, and served as its President and Managing Partner. Successor funds to EGCI continue to be managed by an investment team recruited, hired and trained by Chris. Prior to founding EGCI, she served as a Director of the CoreStates Enterprise Fund (CEF) where she primarily invested over $37 million of growth capital in nine small middle market companies. She also served as Vice President of Fleet Financial Group and as an investment banker at Bank of America covering the media and entertainment industries.
She was a member of the board of directors of St. John’s International School in Waterloo, Belgium for six years and continues to serve on the board of directors of the St. John’s International School Foundation in the United States. Chris is also active with boards of local community service organizations.
Chris holds a B.A. degree from Miami University (Oxford, OH) and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
